June Boyce Tillman (b. 1943. UK / Globetrotter)

Outsider, feminist and religious preacher of diversity

is Anglican priest with great openness to other religions and with interdenomi-national collaboration. She’s a composer, professor of music and a feminist. She believes that travelling in all the world's cultures is very easy in comparison to the challenges she experienced in being a woman from a poor peasant family who had to move through the English class system. Her physical appearance is reminiscent of a buxom African doll. The sculpture has large forms, which emphasize voluptuousness and diversity; several arms, several heads, many drawn elements on the body.
